My name is Michelle! I was born in El Paso, TX and moved to Virginia when I was 8 years old. I’ve been here since!In 2012, I graduated high school with my cosmetology license. I then began my career in the beauty industry specializing in brow shaping and makeup. I’ve worked for top prestige brands such as Tarte, Benefit, Bare Minerals, and It Cosmetics doing sales, events, and master classes. I spent this time discovering my passion for teaching others about products, application techniques, and what best suits them and their needs to bring forward their natural beauty.I went on to become four times certified in lash artistry and have since continued striving to further my education in all things beauty. I am passionate about learning and staying up to date on the latest trends to best serve you.I now specialize in hair and makeup for weddings and special events. It is always such a rewarding experience to help those celebrate the milestones in their lives whether it be their wedding, engagement, birthday, graduation, or anything else.Working in this industry has allowed me the opportunity to express my artistic passion while helping others feel more beautiful inside and out. With my background in cosmetic sales and education, I can teach you pro tips and tricks to help your makeup application feel faster and less frustrating. With this makeup lesson, I guarantee you'll leave feeling more inspired and confident in your skills.One-on-One Lesson (120 minutes) $250What you'll learn:During this lesson, we'll be using the "Show and Teach" technique. I'll show you and explain every step of a full face application on one side and then I'll guide you as you repeat the techniques on the other side of your face. You'll learn pre-makeup skin prep to achieve that flawless skin finish, simplified eyeshadow placement and blending techniques, how to style your brows, how to contour/highlight, how to apply false lashes, and so much more!We'll also:✦ Clean out your makeup bag | Bring your stash! We'll sort through your makeup bag to find any expired products and set aside products that maybe just don't fit your complexion/skin.✦ Do a brush washing demonstration | Washing your brushes is so important! Your brushes build up product and bacteria that could be affecting the outcome of your application and most importantly, harming your skin. I'll show you how to spot clean and deep clean your tools to make them last forever and give you the best outcome.✦ Create a customized shopping list | By the end of your lesson, you'll have a list of products and colors I recommend for you and your skin tone.✦ Have 24/7 access to me via text or email | If you have any questions or get lost when you're doing your makeup at home, you can reach out any time for help!
